As a photographer, I approach my work as a collaborative exploration. My goal is to help your dream to come true.

Tailored Design: Each session is designed specifically for you. Through a thoughtful process (concept design, mood board, how you like to be photographed, wardrobe plan…), we'll create modern portraits that resonate deeply within you.

The Art of Seeing: I go beyond pointing a camera. My experience and artistic vision guide the process, capturing you with a keen eye.

The final result will be a collection of fine art photographs (coloured in black and white) that are not just beautiful, but deeply personal and true to you.

BEFORE YOUR SHOOT

Before stepping into the studio, we'll embark on a collaborative journey to ensure your portraits capture the essence of you.
Through a thoughtful process, we'll explore:
Concept Design: Share your vision, or let me guide you through inspiring ideas!
Mood Board Creation: Let's curate a visual mood board that reflects the atmosphere and style you desire.
Discovering Your Comfort Zone: We'll discuss how you feel most confident being photographed, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable experience.
Wardrobe Planning: We'll collaborate on styling tips and outfits that flatter your personal style and the chosen concept.
Access to wardrobe featuring complimentary pieces. Such as robes, draping fabric, bedsheets, sheer shirt, etc..

The Photo Experiences start from $1200. Pricing details will arrive by email upon request.
Relax in our beautiful private Oakville studio or choose a location that speaks to you. We offer the freedom to personalize your photoshoot experience and can recommend stunning studios throughout the GTA if needed. This allows us to cater to clients in various locations for a comfortable and personalized experience. Jie Su is passionate about capturing adventurers and free spirit around the world. Inquire about travel opportunities – Jie Su accepts a limited number of travel bookings each year!
To lock in your date and secure your photoshoot, a non-refundable booking fee $398 is required. This fee helps us secure your spot and prepare for your personalized session. The remaining balance will be due on the day of your photoshoot.

Relax & Shine! Get prepped for your studio shoot with our detailed guide (arrives by email). It focuses on feeling your best, not major prep. Just a good night's sleep & some quiet time beforehand. Remember, you're already a masterpiece!
Considering wearing wardrobe? Keep it simple! Studio offers draping fabrics and sheer fabric for effortless nude set styling. No need to stress about buying new clothes or a glamorous one.
A private remote photo reveal appointment approximately 3 weeks after your photo session to view and make your image selections for printed products.
These photo reveal sessions usually last about half an hour to 1 hour.
Once the photo reveal session concludes, you’ll receive the set of web-resolution images for personal enjoyment and regular viewing. After that, the design process for your printed products will begin.
I insist on exceptional quality. Jie Su partners with a renowned fine art lab nestled in the Dolomites of Italy, using the highest-quality photographic papers, woods, or luxurious Italian leathers. Expect a 3-4 week production period for albums and wall art, followed by expedited 72-hour delivery from Italy.
One friend is welcome to accompany you for support during your photo shoot. While they should refrain from disrupting the session, they can certainly offer encouragement from the side. Their encouragement will be a wonderful boost!
However, we advise against having romantic partners at the studio shoots. This is to ensure that clients remain true to themselves, as the presence of a partner may inadvertently influence their expressions and behavior.
